Just got this email from the awesome folks at Threadbanger about a scavenger hunt they’re going to be running with Twitter on sunday at the Makers Faire this Sunday in San Francisco. The Makers Faire is a wonderful DIY extravaganza full of wonderful creative oddities and wonders.
I wanted to let you know that the first-ever Threadbanger Twitter Scavenger Hunt is happening this weekend, May 31st, at the Maker Faire in San Francisco. Here’s the details:
Threadbanger hosts Rob and Corinne will be attending the world-renowned Maker Faire this weekend with tweets on. Ten ambitious DIY fans in the area will have the opportunity to enter the faire and compete in an online, Twitter-activated scavenger hunt that takes them through some of the faire’s best stops and offers dozens of prizes along the way!
Well looks like the owner of the Dutch T-Shirt blog Tshirtblog.nl has done a review and unboxing of one of my T-shirts and I think he was particularly impressed with the free gift One of my partners Paul insisted we put something goofy in every package we sent out and currently that is candy cigarettes, I had no idea they were called Stalion candy though, sounds rather like an erectile dysfunction product as opposed to candy cigarettes
here are some of the tweet comments i’ve got as well
If you have ever used Twitter, the latest obsession of the web 2.0 digerati, and famously unstable, then you are familiar with the “Fail Whale”, the page Twitter serves up when it is over capacity. Well the Fail Whale now has a fan club at Failwhale.com and official merchandise from the illustrator Yiying Lu on Zazzle.
