This Obama T-shirt is a wonderfully imaginative design that draws inspiration from the “Obey” graffiti phenomenon. This of course works on so many levels, I especially like the concept of “obey”, especially as someone who is vying for a position of great power. Love this T.
It is ironic that an art concept that was commentary on the power of companies to drive consumption ended up becoming such a recognized brand in it’s own right. Kind of like all the the iconic image of Che that is used to sell a lot of product, including t-shirts.
