Anyway, i wanted to take the chance to post my earth friendly t shirt picks for today — I’ve been saving e-mails from environmentally conscious companies with great company ethics to post on Earth Day.

I’ve posted The Factionist’s stuff for my Ghandi post, they’re worth mentioning again! Plus, they donate $1 from every sale to Global Goodness, an organization dedicated to building literacy & schools in Ghana.

Zoo shirts are plain ole’ fun All tees are 100% organic & the company uses recycled materials.

My last pick from Artifex reminds me of the beautiful moment i hit the 580 off the 5 freeway, when driving up to the bay area. I find them to be a beautiful landmark – I hope wind power becomes more prevalent. Artifex tees are also 100% organic cotton.

Run don’t walk to the Beautiful Decay sale, we’re looking at beautiful high end designer shirts for $15 and hoodies for $39. Not only that i’ve dug into a couple of the clearance shirts and all the sizes were avalable on the ones I checked, so none of that disappointment.

Lots of shirts on sale at Love & Tug, womens are 5 pounds ($10) and mens are 8 pounds ($16), I particularly like the “I heart reahab” and they’ve got a lot more cool designs as well.

This is T-shirt of the day over at Designbyhumans and an excuse to let you know they are having a 20% off sale. I really like Design By Humans stuff, I have a couple of their shirts and their unique printing methods and attention to detail is really brilliant, and as their shirts run from $19 – $24 they are quite a deal IMHO. They use a lot of techniques that you’ll only find on higher end designs like apliques, foils and gels so check them out.

If you are not familier Design By Humans is an ongoing T-Shirt competition rather like Threadless, but has managed over the last year to really establish it’s own voice and look.

The weird and always wonderful Imperfect Articles store is having a 72 hour sale to make room for a new line. If I had any advice for these guys it would be to make get some photos of the shirts up and make the images as enticing as the copy. I’d also put this copy on the purchase page for any shirt and don’t hide it under the “about” section:
