All My Friends Are Dead is one of my favorite t-shirts, i’m actually wearing it right now. The shirt is always getting comments, some people think it’s very funny, others think it’s sad, it seems to work on so many levels. Anyway, a friend of mine just sent me a link to the 20 creepiest album covers, which is hysterical BTW, and I found this album cover. Coincidence? Inspiration? What say you guys at big stone head?
Oh, and this has to be the inspiration for Smell The Glove by Spinal Tap

As the co-creator of the shirt, I can say for sure that the album wasn’t the inspiration, at least not directly. The story goes like this: Jory (the other BigStoneHead.net dude) and I had recently purchased a button maker and were leafing through National Geographic magazines for button fodder. We stumbled across a nice little picture of a dinosaur and one of us — we still can’t decide which — ripped it out and wrote “All My Friends Are Dead” on it. Bingo bango! Shirt! History! Mediocre story! In conclusion: we’re pretty sure we thought of the phrase independently, but who knows.
Sure the text wasn’t taken from the famous Turbonegro song? Awesom shirt anyway.
