Philosoraptor from Lonely Dinosaur T-Shirts

OMG, I love the Philosoraptor T-shirt so much it makes my head hurt. Comes from a company called Lonely Dinosaur who despite their light hearted exterior are committed to organic or recycled cotton and water based inks, so go give them a try, and if you feel so inclined tell them we sent you :)

and as Mary Bee says, Love and Big Reptiles or some such thing :)

This Belgian SQL Server User Group has put together a wonderful demonstration of Augmented Reality using some Microsoft Technology called Augmented Vision using T-Shirts. This was inspired by a marketing campaign that McCann Erickson Belgium had put together.

You can actually try it out yourself by going to sqlug.be page and follow the instructions on the page, it is amazing.

Maybe T-Shirts really can change the world :) in which case here’s one to get started from NIKKI FARQUHARSON who is a designer from Scotland who also runs a site called randomgotbeautiful.com

You can buy the shirt from Holiday Matinee here

The [Holiday Matinee] Artist Series was founded on a simple premise: For every t-shirt you purchase, we donate 100% of proceeds to plant, maintain and protect trees. Did you know that trees help lower your carbon footprint, improve air quality and can reduce your utility bill? Purchasing just one of our shirts will help plant twenty trees. It’s that simple, plus all shirts are tag-free and 100% organic.

New T-Shirts from Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction

I’ve always loved Art In The Age of Mechanical Reproduction concepts. Their T-Shirts are fantastic and I like they way they are bringing like minded people together to work on a much bigger and more important idea, like local solutions. It reminds me of the emerging concept of Sacred Commerce, the idea that business needs to take into account that we are all connected. Holistic business if you like :)

Check out sacredcommerce.com, and even better a local seminar in San Francisco on the topic.
